I guess Barack is worried about those Tea Party people. They clean up after themselves at rallies. What kind of poor example does that set.

Its important for Europe not to simply respond with a hammer, and law enforcement, and military approaches to these problems.”

The Muslims are assimilating well in America. There is a “Barakallah’s Bar-B-Que down your local street. Muslim meat markets springing up with discounted cured ham specials. Turbin Taco’s giving Taco Bell competition. Muslim businesses are springing up all over, Huh?  Their business motto is “Assassinate before assimilate.”  I was at a local Target store with a Muslim woman making a new fashion statement displaying her sinister eyes peeking through all black garb.

I may be way off but is Barack a Muslim. His father was a Muslim. He would not take his wife with him visiting Islamic countries.  He must be because he refuses to assign responsibility to Islamic Terrorist like the rest of the world.  By comparison comes his press secretaries come up with lame non-Islamic incidents raising their level of horror to Islamic Terrorism world wide.

CALIFORNIA PROPOSITIONS & MEASURES VOTERS GUIDE Nov 4, 2014 TORRANCE

The voting recommendations written here are Objectivism based to protect individual freedoms primarily and the way to do that is reduce government spending intrusion and control. 

Measure P, Creates a special tax of $23 per parcel on all real property located in L.A. County.  This money will be used for parks and recreation facilities.  TAXES GO UP EVERY YEAR ON HOMEOWNERS, WHAT HAPPENED TO THE CURRENT BUGETED MONIES?  VOTE NO!

MEASURE T, Create bonds of 144 Billion dollars for school facilities  in the Bond Projects list which cover computers to plumbing.  Spending has not improved education especially since per student spending is the highest in the world.  Eliminate school unions, get govt out of student loans, use vouchers. IF ITS A BOND THEN IT WILL BE PAID BACK BY YOU, FUTURE TAXPAYERS, AND YOUR KIDS.   LET THEM WORK WITHIN THEIR CURRENT BUDGETS, CUT BACK ON WASTEFUL SPENDING.  VOTE NO!

MEASURE U, Create bonds of 50 Billion dollars for school facilities  in the Bond Projects list which cover computers to plumbing.  Not stuttering here this uses the same Bond Projects list as Measure T.  IF ITS A BOND THEN IT WILL BE PAID BACK BY YOU, FUTURE TAXPAYERS, AND YOUR KIDS.   LET THEM WORK WITHIN THEIR CURRENT BUDGETS, CUT BACK ON WASTEFUL SPENDING AND ROYALTY LIKE PENSIONS.  VOTE NO!

PROPOSITION 1, Creates bonds of 7.12 Billion dollars for Water projects. Re-allocates 425 Million dollars from prior water bond acts.  SINCE PRIOR BONDS HAVE NOT BEEN PAID BACK LET GOVERNMENT PUT THE TAXPAYERS ON THE HOOK FOR MORE.  VOTE NO!

PROPOSITION 2, Increases the yearly budget estimates so the State has justification to spend more money.  THE GOVERNMENT MUST CUT TOTAL SPENDING.  THE WELFARE, SALARIES, PENSION AND RETIREMENTS ARE OUT OF CONTROL SO GOVERNMENT MUST REDUCE COMMITMENTS AND RENEGOTIATE CONTRACTS INSTEAD OF TAXING THE CITIZENS MORE. VOTE NO!

PROPOSITION 45, Called the “Insurance Rate Public Justification and Accountability Act.”  It should be called “State monopoly over Insurance companies.” The state wants to control all insurance rates which creates a bribery situation so the state will not lower rates if they get paid off. It removes a companies’ ability to run their business and compete with other insurance company because this law eliminates competition.  If monopolies are bad then why will the state have a monopoly on price fixing?  VOTE NO!

PROPOSITION 46, Called the “Troy and Alana Pack Patient Safety Act of 2014”  It should be called “Penalize all doctors because of the exceptions.”  This will raise medical costs because it proposes all doctors be tested when the exceptions that are current hospital policies address.  So it is another law to raise medical costs.  VOTE NO! 

PROPOSITION 47, Called the “Safe Neighborhoods and Schools Act”  This reduces penalties’ for non-violent crimes thus reducing prison costs.  It creates other problems in the way it distributes money to non prison related uses.  25% of the monies will go to schools to reduce truancy, for at risk students or are crime victims.  10% of the monies will go to trauma centers for crime victims.  65% of the monies will go to corrections to reduce recidivism.  Instead of just reducing prison costs they find a way to spend it.  We do not have to find a way to waste the money, let’s just cut the costs of government.  If they did not find a way to waste the money I would be for it.  VOTE NO! 

PROPOSITION 48, This is for Indian Gaming in Madera County.  If people want to gamble let them gamble.  It is not the job of government to regulate people’s free choices whether they turn out to be self harmful or not.  VOTE YES!

Common Core Math

This is an example from Common Core’s first grade educational curriculum as reported by a John Stossel’s Special 9/4/2014 on the Fox Business Network Thursday Nights.

Example: 32 – 12 = ?
How to work out the problem. Four equations are created. No explanation as to why or how structurally to create them.
12 +    3 = 15
15 +    5 = 20
20 + 10 = 30
30 +    2 = 32
So then you add up the second column.
3 + 5 + 10 + 2 = 20, Twenty is the correct answer subtracting 12 from 32.

A teacher who teaches Common Core Math explaining how it works responding to a question about the math using addition to do subtraction, “I don’t know why they did that?”

BUT WHAT IF YOU USED A LOWER NUMBER IN THE FIRST COLUMN?
11 +    4 = 15
14 +    6 = 20
19 + 11 = 30
29 +    3 = 32
So then you add up the second column.
4 + 6 + 11 + 3 = 24, Twenty-four is NOT the correct answer subtracting 20 from 32.

BUT WHAT IF YOU USED A HIGHER NUMBER IN THE FIRST COLUMN?
13 + 2 = 15
16 + 4 = 20
21 + 9 = 30
31 + 1 = 32
So then you add up the second column.
2 + 4 + 9 + 1 = 16, Sixteen is NOT the correct answer subtracting 20 from 32.

BUT WHAT IF I MIX THE PREVIOUS TWO EXAMPLES?
11 +    4 = 15
16 +    4 = 20
19 + 11 = 30
31 +    1 = 32
So then you add up the second column.
4 + 4 + 11 + 1 = 20, Twenty is the correct answer subtracting 20 from 32.

BUT WHAT IF I DO SOMETHING WEIRD?
15 + 0 = 15
20 + 0 = 20
30 + 0 = 30
32 + 0 = 32
So then you add up the second column.
0 + 0 + 0 + 0 = 0, Zero is NOT the correct answer subtracting 20 from 32.

It does not matter how you put the four equations together so long as the middle column adds up to the correct answer.  By that the equations are irrelevant.  You do not need the first column.  You do not need to add the line equation to get their answer.  You just have to add 4 numbers to get to the answer.  But if I am a kid and do not understand subtraction then I would be totally lost.  Why am I adding stuff to do subtraction?  But if I do not know the answer I can’t put together the useless equations.  Maybe it would be helpful to learn subtraction first.

LETS TRY IT THE OLD WAY.

20 is the correct answer subtracting 12 from 32.

This keeps it simple.  Conceptually with a child you could use 32 paperclips on a table.  Remove 12 paperclips showing 20 remain.

Common Core by this example is not about education but a bunch of bureaucratic non-sense, to dumb down kids, so they will be the sheep to the state. If a kid does not understand math which is man’s connection to understanding the operations of the physical world (Physics) then there is no foundation in learning, knowing one’s own identity or right and wrong. Absent critical thinking an individual can easily be deceived by others or worse government.

If you have kids check their textbooks. Like one parent on the John Stossel special noted, Now, I know why my kid is having trouble in math of which I have to pay for math tutors.

Socialism does not work

Socialism is extortion from the producers.   The extortion is by government.  Socialist government remains in power by rewarding useful idiot voters with false “something for nothing” promises.  The voters think they will be taken care of but only with scraps while Socialist leadership skims rewards and riches off the top for themselves to live like kings while everyone else lives in squalor.

Since the producers work for less and less the diminished rewards do not justify their efforts.  So Socialist leadership thinks the wealthy can never run dry they turn up the screws of regulations and taxes to increase their tax revenue.  Producers find ways to do things cheaper but at some point they cannot so they go out of business or leave the state or country to survive.  This vicious cycle continues which eventually destroys the economy.

This is what Karl Marx predicted for Capitalism.  But it is not Capitalism which fails, it is the Socialist policies which disease Capitalism which cause economic destruction.  Capitalism does not devolve into Socialism.  Socialism must destroy Capitalism from within.  Each time a Capitalist policy is upended by a Socialist policy Capitalism decays.  Capitalism is only created by free people, thinking people, productive people unfettered by government. Socialism is oppression of people, no freedom, no choice, simply drones to obey government or die.

President Obama apologizes, or does he?

President Barack Hussein Obama told the American people, “If you like your plan you can keep your plan, if you like your doctor you can keep your doctor.”  “The average family will save $2500 per year in health insurance cost.” Yet people can’t keep their plan, doctor, and premiums are increasing.

“Even though its affecting a small percentage of folks who may be disadvantaged, it means a lot to them, it’s scary for them.  I am sorry they are finding themselves in this situation based on assurances from me.”

First thing he does is marginalize the people affected by saying, “a small percentage of folks who may be disadvantaged”  This small percentage does not really matter to me in accomplishing Socialized Medicine.  Yet only the 15% who did not have health care was enough to overturn healthcare coverage for the other 85%.

Then Barack throws up a smokescreen by identifying emotionally with us by saying, “, it means a lot to them, it’s scary for them.”  Yet if he really means it, he would do something about it, he would back it up with corrective action to take away the reason why people fear this situation.

In his apology he is sorry to people who, “are finding themselves in this situation.”  Is that an apology, NO!  He uses the word sorry but it is not connected to the backend of the sentence.  He is not sorry for what he did.  When you say you are sorry, it is for what you did.  For example this is a real apology which he would never say.  I am sorry for deceiving the American people to help me pass this healthcare package.  This is an apology.  Yet that is not enough.

An apology to have meaning and to show character the apology must be accompanied with corrective action or compensation.  President Obama should say for example, ObamaCare will  be rescinded so you can purchase insurance based on actuarial tables that apply to your individual situation.

When I was a kid in Jr. High School I was tossing the Frisbee with a friend in the street.  I threw the frisbee to hard without much control and it drifted to the second story window of a neighbor breaking his window.  The neighbor was not home so I put a note on his door that I broke it and to contact me so I would fix it.  When he got home he called me.  I came over and measured for the piece of glass, went and bought it, cleaned out the broken window, and installed the new window.  He was so impressed he offered me other work to do he would pay me for.  The apology was insignificant, compared to my corrective actions.  That meant everything to my neighbor.  Fixing it demonstrated an apology with integrity.

Barack Obama’s apology demonstrates immaturity on the childish end or deceit on the political end.  Either way he is not fixing the situation so it is a meaningless apology.  Another way to put his apology is, Even though I lied to you I am not going to fix the hardship I put you in.  This is how a dictator deals with his subjects.  The subjects are a means to the dictators end, like it or not, whether they live or die.   How Barack handled this situation demonstrates he does not care how people are affected by his oppressive policies.
